Selby Green Party Events

Events coming up

Selby Green Party at Tour de Yorkshire start in Selby - Saturday 2 May, from 10.00am

On Saturday 2 May the Tour de Yorkshire is departing from Selby. We are going to have a Green Party presence in the town centre to show our support for the Tour and particularly our support for Selby as the host. We need as many people as possible to be wearing Green Party t-shirts or green clothing, or even just Green Party badges, to remind the people of Selby in the important final week before the election that they have the option to vote Green, and also to give out leaflets. The programme of events starts at 10.00am. Please note there are road closures in operation on the day - the best way to get into Selby Town Centre is to 'Park and Stride' - more information:

Next meeting - Monday 11 May, 7.30pm

Our next members and supporters meeting will be Monday 11 May at the Community Centre on Scott Road, Selby at 7.30pm. Join us to reflect on the results of the General and Local elections and most importantly to help us plan campaigns and focus for lobbying for the future.

Social events

Throughout the year we also plan to run social events to give you the chance to meet with other members of Selby Green Party, our supporters and others who want to meet in a non-campaigning situation.

For some of these events we charge a fee to attend to help raise funds for Selby Green Party locally but at others there will be no charge.
