14th of June saw the unveiling of the Lorax – my environmentally friendly scarecrow for the village’s Scarecrow Trail – made of over 300 cans, collected by the wombles over recent weeks and with his powerful warning not to cut, spray or mow! The afternoon saw me supporting fellow Green Party Arnold Warneken at the launch of his campaign in Wetherby.
